Divine Rage
The Truth and Wisdom of Anger and Depression

(currently for women only)

How to turn Anger into Power and Peace

In a safe and private environment via experiential discussion, mask-making, journaling, storytelling, somatic movement, right-brain drawing and more:

You will discover:

  • How depression is directly related to authentic self-expression
  • The relationship between anger and depression
  • To recognize the beauty and transformative quality of anger
  • How to constructively harness the power of your anger
  • Where, and how, to discover the "gift" of your sadness
  • Creative and powerful new ways of expressing yourself

"Anger cannot be dishonest"
-Marcus Aurelius, Roman Emperor AD 121-180

    • Does your anger sometimes overwhelm you or others?
    • Do you suppress or internalize your anger?
    • Do you feel depleted or energized after expressing anger?
    • Do you sometimes feel sad or tired for no real reason?
    • Is it easier to blurt the truth when you're angry?

The subject of anger and depression in women has long been regarded as an integral part of our complex hormonal and emotional natures. However, anger and depression in women has much more profound implications than mere psychological or behavioral models can adequately define. Like the immeasurable and unpredictable forces of nature, the Collective Feminine Heart is "breaking open" unleashing a rage that is truly Divine.

The intention of the Divine Rage classes, national interviews and ensuing book, is to give a New Voice to the anger residing in our hearts, our bodies, our souls and psyches. This collective Feminine Voice must be deeply felt, honestly expressed, and clearly heard.

"Anger stirs and wakes her; it opens its mouth,
and like a hot-mouthed puppy, laps up the dredges of her shame.
Anger is better. There is a sense of ''being' in anger.
A reality and presence. An awareness of worth".

-- Toni Morrison
